Our Next Ecstatic Dance - 5th April 2026

Step into a soul-nourishing journey of movement, music, and connection. Join us for a special Ecstatic Dance in the breathtaking Wild Meadow- dancing barefoot under the open sky, surrounded by a warm, open-hearted community.

A 2 hour soulful DJ set by our amazing Monika (DJ Moni X) creating space to explore movement and reconnect through rhythm and flow. We begin

with a gentle warm-up activity to tune in and close with a

grounding sound bath session, letting the dance settle and

integrate into our lives. Then we’ll also enjoy time together around the fire and a shared some yummy food.

I’m Monika, a DJ, therapist and founder of @ecstaticdancenorthants and @alchemy.of.presence . My journey into ecstatic dance began with a desire to connect deeper with myself and others through the universal language of music and movement. For me, music isn’t just sound; it’s medicine for the soul, a tool for transformation, and a doorway to presence. Over the past years, I’ve woven my love for healing, meditation, and DJing into unique ecstatic dance sessions where we explore freedom, connection, and joy together.

What’s an Ecstatic Dance?

Ecstatic Dance is a free-form movement practice—
a safe space to express yourself freely without judgment.
Through rhythm and movement, we release stagnation,
awaken our vitality, and enter a natural state of flow.

What To Bring

  ✔ Comfortable layered clothing for movement (it gets hot!)
  ✔ A water bottle
  ✔ A blanket or yoga mat for the sound bath relaxation (lying down)
  ✔ A cup for cacao
  ✔ A vegetarian/vegan dish to share
  ✔ A plate and cutlery
✨ Optional: instruments and festive outfits
✨ Optional: An offering for the altar (stone, flower, or meaningful object)

Dance Guidelines

      ✔ Substance-free event—come as you are!
  ✔ No talking on the dance floor—let movement be the language.
  ✔ Barefoot dancing encouraged—connect with the earth.
  ✔ Respect personal space—non-verbal consent is key.
  ✔ No phones or recording—stay present in the moment.
